I read I can add up to 10% flax seed to my poultry feed to improve omega 3 level in the eggs. It is also good to offer a few weeks before slaughter to improve meat quality.
What I know is that pasture raised birds have a higher omega as do wild birds, venison, and pasture fed hogs, beef, etc...
