Update:
Still the same pretty much, very slight improvement. We uploaded a new video of her legs when standing, seems like where the Tibia meets the Metatarsis possibly?...
Taking her to our veterinarian friend tomorrow, hopefully it'll be sorted soon :)
Will update tomorrow. Cheers
That helps so much! Cheers. Are you able to describe the flex you saw in the video? Was it in the right leg?
We will give her a bath and give her more calcium and protein. Would it be wise to put her in a sling, splint or just keep her confined?
Sorry for all the questions, we are new...
Update:
Seems to be in good health other than the described injuries. The guy at the feed shop said it could be worms, so we gave her some kilverm this arvo after a little stroll/dust bath.
Gave her a salad with kefir, kale, layers mix w/ pellets, grass/clovers and some coconut oil on chia toast...
Felt her legs and didn't notice anything significant in temp or feel but im no vet. We forgot baby aspirin, is a weak dose of regular aspirin ok? Cheers
Will do. Yeah we were thinking something along those lines too. She can still run away just not too well, we gave her a litttle run this...
Cheers, I hope its something simple like that. They have been vaccinated but not sure what for - i don't think its mareks as she seems fairly alert still.
We made her a healthy salad with kefir dressing today and treated her for worms just incase.

Shes still eating well, had some more kefir and layers mix/pellets as well as a little chunk of coconut oil - which she also loved.
She's in the storage tub/make shift cage overnight. She seemed to miss her sisters at...

She is 21 weeks old as mentioned in the thread but is not laying yet, the other birds (all same age and breed) haven't laid either. They are ISA Brown x New...

The description, pics and a video is in the thread, any help is greatly appreciated...
Cheers, its a public holiday in Aus so most shops aren't open. We'll pick up some vitamins etc. tomorrow morning and ask the people at the feed shop too.
In the meantime we've brought her inside in a big storage tub with a wire lid and some hay/food/water (added a tiny bit of garlic).
We fed...
Thank you for the reply.
She gets plenty of food but we got her at 16 weeks so unsure of her prior eating habits.
Do you know specifically what nutrient deficiency it could be?
Our 21 wk old hen Arthur Boyd can't seem to balance properly and we are not sure why.
We saw no obvious cuts or swelling when inspecting her feet/legs (and applied some aloe for good measure).
She sleeps on the floor of the wooden coop (with about 15cm of straw bedding - sometimes has bare...
