Hello! recently i moved my Silkie roo in with some of my larger gals because he was looking a little rough from one too many fights with my other Silkie rooster. so long story short i took an egg from my Easter Egger and put it in my incubator and sure enough after awhile i saw this.
in my experience you can crack the eggshell all around the air sac and that will help them out a ton but be careful for obvious reasons! secondly 48-72 hrs is a long time from the start of piping is the little one still talking?
Day 3 and they seem to be staying about the same condition wise. The one with respiratory problems seems to be getting lighter despite it trying to eat
Morning Update they made it through the night symptoms are roughly the same but they're more inclined to eat. Hopefully they just need some TLC to pull through whatever this is.
