    These little guys hatched the first week of august. They were raised by their mama. Today was their first day out with their dad. He was very gentle and kind to them. I have an isa brown rooster and a brahma. They made all 7 babies. I cant figure out how i got such neat chickens.

    I did not know that. My other rooster is a jerk, but he protects his ladies and gives them food. Ever since she had her chicks, my older rooster has been over protective.

    Thank you so much! I've been beating My head over this for months. He is very sweet, he acts like a baby around the mother hen and her chicks. He likes to sleep with her in her nest. So I was confused he was trying to copy my mama hen lol

    I have a 4 month old silkie. Have no idea its gender. Im leaning towards a roo, but i could be wrong. He has no beard or puff on his head, 5 toes, black skin.
