    How cute! Mine don't come close to me, they're all rescues, but I would take way more photos of I could! That doesn't stop me from showing what pics I have to everyone I can! Yours all look so happy!

    Will lice cause the hunching and sleepiness? My hen is doing the same thing and she has lice. She has good color and is healthy physically.

    Contact your local property appraiser office. My local office has a guy who specifically deals in agricultural zoning. S/he should also be able to provide you with the requirements for making something agricultural. Every county has a different qualifier, example so many cattle per acre.

    You originally mentioned all your neighbors are agricultural. Bring the proof and map it out. Mention there aren't any residential properties within so many miles. Try searching the county property appraiser site for that information. Provide scientific facts for the mosquito control benefits...

    I'm so glad you joined! I did the same thing and bought a farm in June with one sassy chicken! I get rescues from my local animal control and have grown my flock to 4! They are an absolute delight and easy to care for. This forum has been a great help and I hope you enjoy it!
