    Best cross breeds

    One of the prettiest cross breeds I've done was a Barred Rock roo x EE hen. She came out barred but had red all through her. She was gorgeous! Sadly she just passed away today, about an hour and a half ago. 😢

    The Ebay chicks turn 1 month old!

    For any of you that followed along, back in mid July, I started "The Ebay eggs project." A 5 part series on the hatchability of "fertile auction eggs." Well as you know 9 of 15 hatched, and today they turn 1 month old. I had no SCDS (sudden chick death syndrome). Here are a few pictures of them...

    Welcome aboard! This is a great place to fill in those "holes". The people on here are great. Super nice and very knowledgeable. Enjoy this place its hard to get off once you start digging into all the info and conversations. Welcome.

    Its a mixed batch wont know till they hatch. Makes it a little more exciting. The eggs in my pic are the ones in the incubator.

    Hello all

    Well I've done it again. I am experienced in the chicken world, but I have taken a few years off. I'm at it again though. Right now I have 15 eggs in the incubator on day 6. These are ebay eggs. First time doing that so lets see how it goes. Thank you for this site and lets start this journey again.
