    Thanks ADozenGirlz! I have read the MD codes both here on this website and also on our county website. Seems I can have 3-5 chickens. GREAT idea about asking the neighbors - I will casually mention the idea and see how they respond and then promise to share eggs with them! Great advice - all...

Was supposed to be heading to OC end of this month, but my first grandchild is schedule to make his grand entrance into the world, so I'm sticking close to home, but definitely in August or September.
