    INDIANA BYC'ers HERE!

Just moved from Madison Indiana to just across the bridge in Louisville Ky (west end). Anyone near by? I would love to find a local source for eggs until my girls are laying reliably.

    Chicken palpating....not egg bound.

I do not suspect egg bound issues, but I am wondering if it is possible to "feel" the egg inside the chicken by palpating from the outside? I will go in to further details if needed, haha. Basically I want to know who has an egg ready to be laid at one point and time and check once eggs emerge...

I am.making a ramp right now actually. The coop has enough sqf for 12 birds according to a calculator i used. Longer than it is wide and well ventilated. It's not done-done, just safe enough to put them in while we finish up things I'd rather them free range and they are easy to catch so I...

Mama Heating Pad in the Brooder (Picture Heavy) - UPDATE

How ironic, I came here to also ask about weaning off the heat pad. They have vegub knocked it flat and it worries me. They are in my basement where night temps are 55-65 degrees most nights. They are roughly 4 weeks old, is it safe to take the heat away? Coop is not done so we can't simply...

Up your game and get some Chicken Nipples!

We don't have room for one in our brooder, do you think they would be able to learn it at 8-12 weeks when they go outside?

I've STOPPED Roosters Crowing Is there enough interest for me to patent & supply?

If you are being serious, Kickstarter would be your best bet for a niche product.
