My chickens ate an eggs once. I started giving them raw hamburger and I put powdered calcium on it. I haven't had a problem since and my eggs can be dropped and all they do is dent a little 🙃 your chickens may be missing something in their diet and that's why they are eating eggs
Found these feathers on the coop floor this morning. What are the white things on the feathers? Seems to be only on a couple of feathers and not on the rest. I dusted them with DE 3 weeks ago and I have 4 chickens.
Mine love raw hamburger, 4.99 at Aldi for organic grass fed beef. Really helped with the hard molt they just had! Now if I could only get them to eat chicken feed again. .
I have a 20 x 20 dog kennel I use as a chicken run. We have been invaded by "no see ums". These little suckers are biting the crap out of my chickens and myself every night. Does anyone know what I can put down to get rid of these pests and is chicken friendly? Preferablely natural too.
