    This years hatch 3 of my em's and 7 gray Toulouse. The 3 em's from my birds and the grays from a nearby farm 100% hatch rate.

    FAILURE @ HT COMPOSTING!

    I put straw in my compost piles. It allows for more oxygen and a overall higher temp. Less turning but there is still the need for the shovel and fork.

    Looking for local quail eggs.

    I have been searching for quail eggs near me. I have gotten other bird eggs from across the states with poor hatch rates. I have good hatch rates with my chicken eggs as well as some that I get from some of my neighbors farms. I haven't found any quail people around where I'm at. Any tips on...

    quail incubation humidity

    A bit scary taking out a full turner. I e used a turkey basted in the past to suck out water from the lower troughs and not had to remove the eggs at all.

    when to reintroduce a brooding duckling back to its mama

    I alway wait to introduce new duck to my flock till they are 8 weeks old same as my chickens. Even if they are from my flock. I haven't let my duck sit on eggs for a while I incubate the eggs I get.
