Had a lot of Muscovy's at once from 3 hens. Had an offer to sell 10 and we will need the space.
Hi I have Muscovy's and love them. Very tame and nice. Unfortunately, I just had 3 hatch eggs all at once! Too many for us. I've got a friend who wants 10 I think he will sell or put them on his farm. I'm wondering if it is better to leave a duckling or 2 with each Mom? I only had one other... -

Help! In the past, due to storms etc., my muscovys eggs didn't hatch. I only had one hatch last year and put the mom and babies together in a small outside room until they got big enough to put in the yard. They did okay but the poop became an issue as it was a cement floor and the food costs...- drkimba

One thing I should mention... He seems to be in love with a particular hen. They were raised together. Now I have the hens and roosters seperated so that could be part of the issue but I have to say he was getting aggressive before. I'm having the same problem. Hatched the rooster and he used to be one of the most affectionate pets I had now he attacks as soon as I come to the cage door. Worried he is teaching the other ones to do it too. Awful because I am attached to him and he is really beautiful.- drkimba

I'm really interested. I have to get NPIP and paperwork to order here (Saipan) US protectorate. I've ordered eggs in the past but chick selection is limited here.
