Ok, I've been hustling all day and rehomed the boys! The white one is my daughter's favorite, so I found him a forever home on a farm of a friend. The barred and 2 blacks ones...we just did an hour each way road trip to a country store that houses roosters.

Woke up this morning to FOUR of my 7 "hens" crowing, LOL. We live in a no-rooster ordinance area, so I have to rehome them ASAP. I don't know exactly the breed, they were mystery chickens donated to my children's school as eggs. Pretty sure they are Australorps though. We are in East Hope...

I woke up this morning with FOUR roosters (out of my flock of 7). These are my first chickens ever. They are all sweet birds, but I live in a no-rooster-ordinance town. Since all 4 of them started crowing this morning at 4:40AM for the first time, I have to figure out how to rehome them ASAP...
Well, looks like the chickens answered the question for me as of 4:40am today. FOUR of them were crowing! I had to put them in their coop and lock the door before the neighbors woke up, but now I have to figure out what to do with them asap. I thought I would have more time.

They hatched at either the end of April, beginning of May. No idea when they actually got the eggs, so I dont know the incubation process. The kids didn't remember and the teacher didn't tell me. But they were at least 4 week old chicks when they came home June 9th.

That's me being very bad at math, lol. The kids don't remember when they hatched. They came home June 9th, but we're hatched sometime between end of April, beginning of May.
