I also want to add that while we do have a lot of hawks and wild birds, these particular gamecocks do not have their waters outside of the penned area and it seem doubful that a bird could have access their waters.

I recently built a 10'4"x10'4" deck and placed a 10'x10'x6' dog kennel/cage on top of it. Built (half way finished) a coop that's 8'x4'3"x4' with the floor 3'8" off the ground. is the floor too high for large Brahmas to get into even with a ramp?

New to forum. I have a question that is somewhat related to this thread. What is the maximum height a floor of a coop should be off the ground? Right now the new coop I built for some in coming Brahma's is 3' 8" off the ground. Is this too high?
