I did slanted roofs on my nest boxes but I put a 2 1/2 foot over hang. My coop roof is only 6 foot 5 inches high just enough for me to walk in and around the coop without hitting my head.:) They have not leaked and we’ve had some terrible rains the last couple weeks.
Planted another short row of radishes (3 foot) wife and I love them but I have found if I stagger plantings that it works better for us. I usually share produce with my neighbors but neither like radishes. I also planted 4 more rows of carrots we are hoping to get enough this year to can a few.
Not today but two days ago planted two apple trees, two pear trees and six blueberry bushes. Now maybe I’ll live long enough to eat an apple and pear the blueberries will probably produce a cup or two this year.
