based on the size of the chicks legs and overall stature, i’m 90% sure the roo was the jersey giant. that poor bird has some massive Barney Rubbles 😂😂 im not totally sure what the roo color is but i think black.
Definitely has a rose comb so i think ive narrowed it down to the black laced golden wyandotte :) roo is either a JG or bantam. will be interesting to see feather pattern- right now they appear to be barred
Anyone have a few of these beauties? I have two chicks - both look very different- but are equally cute and they are getting large quickly!! Curious what you think of yours? Are they docile, friendly birds?

4 of my hatching eggs were received for free from a friend with a mixed flock. All four eggs hatched on 4/12.

I know I shouldn’t, but I have favorites in my flock… I love all of my hens equally, but some just stand out over others! This is my speckled sussex Maid Marion.. shes not particularly sweet nor a really good egg layer, but she sure is cute 🥰. Would love to see everyone else’s!
The chochins they have are large fowl. Here is a better photo of my feather footed friend I believe is the cochin- they are the only breed on the list with feathered feet I think...
