yes, I brooded two ducks in 1.5mtr clearance, and they can see each other, and the next thing is I prepared the nest with sawdust, as you said, I think it would have caused bacterial contamination. sawdust is cheap here and I using the same for my hens also. are there any better alternatives for... -
day 36 on Muscovy eggs and no babies.
dear, the same thing happened to me....all eggs were spoiled and not brooded. did you find out the reason why it happening so? can you consult me with good measures to hatch next time?- duckanand

I brooded 15 eggs of muscovy duck, after 34 days all eggs turns blue and blueish spots, and nothing hatched. the ducks spoiled some eggs by cracking it and some eggs were eaten by them,the cracked eggs were smelling bad too. I don't know why it happens so pls help me....
