I’m sorry for your loss. As far as the chicks go, broody hens should take care of the rest. If you want to have some nutri drench on hand, that’s great for ailing chicks.
If there’s a sack on her, I could be her yolk sac. Keep her in a small upright paper cup with a tissue in it. it should absorb on its own. Don’t cut it or remove it, its vital that the chick absorbs it on its own.
We have a duck named Katchka that hatched in April last year. Her left hip is slightly deformed, reducing mobility, so we have to be careful not to make her run to fast. Other than that, she doesn’t need any extra care, so I don’t know if that counts. ☺️
