Adding a chicken back to the flock after 2 days away

I decided to put the three back this afternoon. They seem pretty good. There were maybe a couple pecks from their young flockmates but they’re also the biggest of them all. They did seem to linger near me a bit but let’s hope given a few hours it’ll all be forgotten.

Adding a chicken back to the flock after 2 days away

He’s 12 weeks, as are 12 other hens he was raised with. There are grown 5 hens that they’re all adept at avoiding. The one grown rooster is fine with them. We’ve already mixed him in with the exiled group and he’s perfectly accepting.

Adding a chicken back to the flock after 2 days away

(Hope I’m in an appropriate forum) Hi All, this is a long story lead up to my question but I’ll try to keep it quick. I gave away a young rooster and it just didn’t work out. I gladly took him back and he’s been hanging out with two flock mates in my chicken tractor for 36 hrs. I really really...

6/7 week old Light Brahma pullet or roo?

Ok, here she? is. She/he does have a darker yoke than her sibs, if that means anything. Thanks for your input!

    What Breed is she/he?

I know I’m late but he looks a lot like my Speckled Sussex Roo but with out the speckles. Maybe a cross.

6/7 week old Light Brahma pullet or roo?

I have to ask the follow up because I’m doing the same thing with my 8wo LB right now. They’re very similar looking.

Gender of my 9 week old Brahma

I’d guess 1 cockerel, 2 pullet, 3 questionable cockerel. What kind of Brahma? They’re beautiful.

    My 9wo EE chick

I’m going to have to adopt him out. I’ll try my local chicken forum. I see some breeds go quickly but I’m not sure about EEs. Any thoughts?

    My 9wo EE chick

Hi, I’ve asked once before a few weeks back but thought I’d try again. The consensus was that it’s a cockerel. I’m just not convinced that his comb is red and developed enough. The EE and his sis have similar long tails and big legs. They’re our first EEs. 9wk Local independent hardware store

    Buff Orpington Roo?
