    do you know if she could fly away? she was a jumbo pekin and was preety heavy. we never saw her get off the ground much. she flapped her wings and could go up a foot with running but nothing else. but I guess she could've flown away. I dont know. The temperatures in my area have been getting...

    she was scared of a predator and ran far away to a pond near my house. The pond is relatively large but has an island in the middle the size of 2 large houses. We have been circling the island looking and listening for her and shaking food. we even brought out the other duck to call for her...
