Did any of you wobbly goose owners get any answers? Same situation here. going on 5 days, no walk at all. Can't support herself at all. I'm thinking she got into some bee killer poison that was recently sprayed. She has also been getting into the insulation under 2 cabins, which apparently is...
My goose and chickens have entirely destroyed the foam insulation panels under 2 cabins. Sigh.... I don't get it. It was not very secure. Now we're nailing it up, piecing it together seamlessly so no tags hang down, covering with Visquine and then covering that with chicken wire... But these...
Several years later here, but so curious to hear the outcome of this experiment. I guess plants is the key. Curious how to get plants established, with motor-mouthed, destructo-ducks on the go in the pond. Ratios / ducks to fish, fish to plants / algae, all such a balancing act. Can't wait to...
Here's a good article about this. Seems 2nd nature to me. But apparently some don't have the same sensibility & need it explained.

Thanks!

Luckily was able to do a switch and correct the balance w/ a couple of girls. Thanks to Margot. But, yes the coloration WAS a definitive indicator (blotchy heads & dark...
Hi Margot, fancy meeting you here. .. !
The mallards flew the coop.. (with a little encouragement from us, as the noise level was getting to be too much for the neighbors). Our neighborhood is surrounded by marshes & i think they are faring well, and we are looking forward to a visit at some...
No quacks yet. & both their mother and father were just about quack-less. barely made a sound, even at Full volume. which is one reason i chose these particular peepers.
Thanks!
Hi all! Any Informed guesses as to whether these 'Austrailian Spots' are Boys or Girls?? 3 blues and 1 Silver head. Are pretty, but not exactly the coloration i expected. A lot more white on front and underneath than i thought. Seem to have some male and some female looking traits. They are...
