Chick's Eye Injury
I do have some Vetericyn in the cabinet... that is safe to use at such a young age? Thank you for your advice and I appreciate the tips about the hardware cloth -- We had a mirror in there but I didn't find that sufficient.- Ducky07

Yes unfortunately they are a tad noisy. The males are not so bad, but this is typical in every breed. Actually I had to separate the males and females for awhile; the difference between the noise level was incredible! -

It really depends on the duck but some breed are more friendly than others. In my personal experience Pekins are the most sociable. Cayugas seem quiet and often unsociable. Dead Duck in Nesting Box
I could not find any external injuries on her. My guess was she may have ingested a poisonous substance or had a complication passing an egg. I wondered if it had anything to do with the egg because the gang loves it outside and only goes in the coop to lay. -
