    Getting geese for first time in spring

    I have a pair of geese on pre-order as well and I was wondering if it would be wise to have them in a separate house from my ducks? They’ll be sharing a run/free range together.

    I have 2 ducks (hens) now...how many do you think I’ll have this time next year? I’m guessing 10+2 geese. Trying to plan out their upgraded coop. If I’m thinking I’ll have 10+2 geese maybe I should plan for 20+4 geese haha. Math was never my strong point!

    Some are local, some aren’t. The non-local ones are: Backyard ducks, duck-duck-goose, raising backyard ducks, rescue ducks.

    I’m so excited! I’ve been lurking here and on some Facebook groups and I’ve decided I want to get one of each breed! Ha! But really though I’m looking for some small breeders focusing on quality so if anyone has some recommendations I’d love it. I’m not really interested in the large hatcheries...
