If you are traveling along I80 to or from northern California, northern Nevada and wouldn’t mind 3-4...

    Pinioning turkeys

I am thinking about raising some turkeys next year but am concerned they will fly into the neighbors yard full of dogs. Has anyone pinioned a turkey before? Just wondering how well they can fly after pinioning.

    Chantecler vs Buckeye

Does anyone raise both Chantecler and Buckeye chickens? They sound like similar breeds, dual purpose and cold hardy. Just wondering if there is much differences in them. Thinking about stock from a breeder.

    Ameraucana winter hardy laying

Thats interesting about the bantams. Most published literature I have read says they dont lay as well as large fowl. Recently I have heard several accounts of bantam Chantecler laying better than their full size counterparts.

    Havahart trap junk

Oregon blue - Coons relocated from here to the land fill take a trip in a plastic bag:) They dont cause problems for any one again. My cuff trap came from the sporting goods store. The trap was a genuine Havahart. Works great on kittys but the door attachment was weak for higher level animals.

When they touch the trigger in the other end a strong loop bar comes out of the side and pins their leg to the side of the pipe. As long as the trap is anchored well it wont pull out. They are strong...
