    I had a visit from code enforcement the other day. I was told that someone had complained about my rooster. I was also told that code enforcement already knew I had chickens but "they had let it slide" but now since the complaint I had to get rid of my chickens because I was breaking the city...

    I don't know why it's a big surprise that we have coyotes. It's not a very big town. I see coyotes, foxes, raccoons, opposumes, deer, bats, huge owls, falcons, buzzards and even a pair of bald eagles all the time and I live right in the middle of Leavenworth.

    I found the one with the air sac on the side. It's the most active egg. How can you tell if they have piped the air sac? What do you do to help them?
