Well here is a progress post, I’ve completed the shell of the run and have started painting the coop so I can move into its final place attached to the run. The run is 8x20 and has a metal roof. I’ll be closing it in with hardware cloth.
Coop was delivered today and I got it put in a semi permanent position with my tractor. It doesn’t have much for ventilation as you guys expected so I’ll have to do some slight modifications.. suggestions are welcomed.
I'll know more tomorrow when the coop is delivered...I did buy it off Facebook without seeing it....but I'm very capable of making modifications If need be. I'll be sure to post as I progress so I can get some pointers.
Here are some pics of the Amish built coop we purchased..It’s 5x8. Normally I’d build this myself but for the price we got it for it saved me a huge amount of time. I am planning to build a covered run onto this.
