    Hello everyone, I am new to the genetics and coloring combinations pertaining to Orpingtons. I have a buff rooster....if I have a Jubilee hen, what would their chicks color(s) be.

    Well, he is obviously a frizzle mix, but brahmas do come in the red pyle color.

    Th darker colored mystery chick looks to be a possible Orpington. Maybe a mix, but definitely looks to have Orpington in there somewhere! Mine are Orpington and have some cochin, they looked like that at about 6 weeks, Cochin's are fluffier and have feathered feet.

    Silkie thread!

    New to the backyard chicken world and we recently added a Silkie to our little flock. The breeder said it was a gray or white? It was much lighter in color a few weeks ago but is getting darker and I am wondering if she could be a splash? Any ideas?
