I am on day 10 of incubating my turkey eggs. How can you tell if they are fertile or not? 3 of them definitely had movement; all the others had a large dark mass but I didn’t see anything move. Is the picture attached fertile?

Hi! I have 2 male pilgrim geese and they saved my chickens life. They were standing over her and biting at the fox that attacked her. If it wasn’t for my geese, my chicken wouldn’t be with me anymore. I highly recommend getting Pilgrim geese. I love mine!!

Hi everyone! I have an older hen (about 4 years old) and I was wondering if she would raise chicks? She isn’t broody, but I didn’t know if her “mother instincts” would kick in if she saw a chick? Thanks!

I was just informed by my pet sitter that I lost my favorite Easter egger :,(. All that was left was her feathers and legs. What do you guys think ate her? RIP bumble <3 :(

Yes I have him and his partner in a 3 acre fenced in field. Im thinking it’s sunburn bc his beak looks a little redder than usual. Him and his partner have a kiddy pool that is cleaned daily.

I know this thread is mostly used for chickens but does anyone know what’s wrong with my pilgrim goose? He lost feathers on one side of his face below his eye. What do I do?!
