I realize this is an old thread....but does using collected rain water from a coop's roof or a house roof require a filtration system before it gets to the chickens?
Anyone know if chickens in West Melbourne FL are allowed? I've tried reading through the ordinances but may need a law degree to understand...just moved to the area and want to expand my garden capabilities with some chickens
