We have lost two from our flock in the last few weeks - one from an unknown predator and the other after an unfortunate incident with our dog - and so we brought home two new pullets last night.

Yeah, I was confused because the woman kept telling me she was a Silkie and ... no Silkie comb. lol. She was the one I first spotted and loved, then I saw the Black Silkie and adopted her as well. So glad I did, especially because I really wanted a Silkie for Mother's Day. lol.

Hi all! I brought this beauty, along with a black Silkie, home tonight. I was told she was a Silkie and couldn't figure out why she didn't have the walnut comb, then I realized Silkies have black legs and beaks. What is she?
