    As much as I would love to take your advice, I have like 20 birds and lots of bedding and nesting boxes. I simply cannot spray the nontoxic stuff, poultry protector, everywhere regularly. Read DE isn't effective and Can cause respiratory problems. still better than the toxic stuff I am using...

    What is the vitamin treatment? I have been using corrid but read somewhere that alternating meds may help prevent resistance. Anyone have any thoughts on which meds and how best to get sickbirds back on their feet after treatment? Those electrolyte packs added to water? Special diet?

    It isn't dark red, just a bit of blood red in a kind of mucousy, loose stool. I just watched a video on marek and am going to go check again. A necropsy might be needed. Ugh.
