    We've had great success with Buff orpingtons, black australorps, and Easter eggers. All are great layers and very friendly.

    Oh seeing all those photos makes me miss my tank. I had to sell it when I moved to New York a few years ago. I had a 55 gallon with Bosemani rainbowfish, dwarf neon rainbowfish, and turquoise rainbowfish. Also had a beautiful gold nugget pleco. Thank you for sharing your photos.

    Well our new and unruly Sumatra hen has fallen in line. Tamed and broken by our easy going flock chief Buff Orpington. Peace has returned and all is well in the backyard.

    I've noticed that she is very aggressive. She seeks to be the dominant hen. My girls don't like her. She's constantly pecking at them. My dominant hen is a big Buff Orpington and she tries her best to shield the other birds. I hope the hierarchy sorts itself out peacefully without any damage...
