Thanks for your message. On Saturday when the weather was nice, Breta actually foraged and ate earthworms in the yard, but still doesn’t eat anything else on her own. We have been force feeding her scrambled eggs, peanuts powder in yogurt, and milk. The antibiotics seems helped a little, but...
Yes, information about the implant on this thread has saved the life of Mocha last year. I am so grateful to all who posted their experience with implant for their girls.
Mocha was sick last May and a vet did a X-ray for her and said she had probably cancer. After about 4weeks on...

Thank you very much for your information. Breta laid some odd shaped eggs last year before she started molting in October. Then a few weeks ago she laid a few normal eggs followed by a few very tiny yolkless eggs with very thin shell. I regret so much for not put her on implant right away...
How is your chicken doing? One of my 4 year old Golden Comet is having possibly egg peritonitis. She is on antibiotics for the past 4 days and is not getting better. She completely stopped eating since she is on the med. we have been force feeding her a little bit everyday. I may stop the...

Thanks. The reason I asked is that we had our Mocha implanted about two weeks ago. She has no sign of molting yet. She has been subdued and not eating much since the implant. We didn't have her drained of the fluid, so her belly is still very big. The vet does not recommend draining her.
