Yes, as long as they have where to get heat when they want, they will be fine. Make sure to provide enough space in case they don't want that much of heat. Also, protect them from wind if it is an open area.
Do you provide them a place where they can have dust bath?
I burn piles of wood and they love to take dust bath on the ashes. I do that on different spots where they hang around.
Give a bath of dust/ash. Spread ash in all the are. Chickens remove their pest themselves by taking dust bath, so provide that to them. Those pests can't survive in dust. Even the eggs dries out with the dust.
@ATXInstantFlock you couldn't describe it better on your first post. I made my wife to read your post. She started by bringing "me" 2 free roosters. lol... We have over 150 chickens right now lol...
@MysteryChicken This is awesome!
Do you mind If I get a picture and post it on my website with a link back to this thread?
I can also provide you free web hosting if you would like to setup a shop to sell this pieces of art! to help you get started :)
Give it some water with a syringe to keep him hydrated, I don't know what else to do. It seems pretty young maybe somewhere a little bit over a month? At that age, their parents still feed them. Maybe give some food too, he might be weak from not eating enough.
