    This Silver Laced Wyandotte is Stella. And this Barred Rock is Bonnie, my favorite hen. And these are my 2 Rouen Ducks, Rosaire and Roxanne. I love my little flock!

    Sometimes I bathe my chickens to help with parasites and sanitation... also it makes them pretty. Brother: "What are you doing?" Me: "Washing my chickens." Brother:"...why?" Me: "Hens like to look good too!"

    On the heat lamp, it's fine to turn it off. Leghorns are a relatively hardy breed. Once it hits 32 or less, consider turning it on again. I had a variety of chicken breeds and I often wouldn't turn it on till it hit the 20s. Is your run covered? Maybe a little shade would encourage them to go...
