    Update: we now have 12 beautiful chicks in the brooder! They're all fluffy and active and getting so tall! Plus, there is one last egg about to hatch. We'll see how that goes... Our only concern is one little chick that just couldn't make it out of its shell. I carefully helped it "unstick"...

    Thanks, y'all! We've learned a lot in 24 hrs. We now have 11 chicks, with one more that has nearly broken free, but is still inside a half-zippered open shell. There are a couple others that have pipped, too... The incubator took a LOT of getting used to, and I think the temps/humidity...
