    No chicks will hatch on the shelves. Eggs will be on trays and automatic turner till 3 days for hatching and then will be moved to the bottom part where i have the hatching box for lockdown, the box itself is 1 foot high itself also, so no babies can get out either.

    Thanks.....right now i have 130 quail eggs and 30 chicken (15 Delaware/Maran mix and 15 Serama) but it could fit way more eggs if I set them individually instead of using trays and egg turner but turnimg would be a hassle....Im thinking of building the egg turning setup as the cabinet bators...
