    i put 3 ceramic eggs in the nest. they lasted a week or so before she ejected them. there are now 10 eggs in the nest with no sign of either hen hanging it up for the season. they're still breeding daily, but it is becoming less often - i think.

    I've read in a few places that the French/Utility/Production Toulouse goslings grow & put on weight more rapidly than other breeds. Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Every night I provide a bowl of peas & greens to my boys when I close them up in the evening as I do not put grain or water inside overnight. I prefer to think of it less as a *bribe* & more of an *equitable arrangement*.
