Here's some more of my chicks out in the yard connected to the brooder coop, (2 rir, 6 barred rocks, 1 Dominique , 1 black australorp, and gallito my black sex link rooster I hatched out)..he's gonna be the protector of my free range birds that ima have in a different coop that are gonna be my...- Elginchickens

I'm not sure what he weighs or what he's supposed to weigh but yah he's pretty big...but his tail feathers aren't grown out as much as there gonna get... waiting for that one year mark so I can see him fully grown and feathered.- Elginchickens

Yah I'm hoping the same thing...I keep trying to put her in there but each time they peck her and don't let her eat...I tried giving her some water and feed of her own but they claim that as there's as soon as I turn my back...I know I Gotta leave her longer so they'll accept her but it's hot...- Elginchickens

thank you and yah that's the truth....but usually I have them both in the breeding pen that is split in two sides so they don't fight...but I just recently bought a 3 month old RIR hen and the other girls won't let her Eat or drink.so I have to now give the boys turns with the girls so my lil...- Elginchickens

I did have 25 in there.but 15 of them we're males so they went to the smoker....right now there are 10 five month old hens 1 one and half year old hen and a 5 month old rooster...and they don't even take up a 1/3 of the roosting space...in all we got 39 chickens counting the babies that are at...- Elginchickens
