Eating and drinking aren’t problems. She barely tolerates the spray idk how I’d ever do ointment and yes the eye is intact with no junk; just swollen and red. She opens them often but keeps them closed more often than the rest. I’m a new chicken owner and very overwhelmed
I got this sweet, tough little hen that was the only survivor of a suspected cat attack. Treated her head wound with iodine and for mites plus a 5 day antibiotic course.
She’s definitely more perky now but then I noticed her inflamed eyes, so I treated as if pink eye with the vetericyn spray...
