    Someone told me unless I breed to another barred chicken that all I would get is Roos. She (my cream legbar) was bred to my black Silkie Roo. I think I will keep one of the Roos and when he’s old enough breed him to one of my Splash Silkie girls.

    2 out of my 5 layers. But one of them, my cream leg bar is molting and hasn’t laid an egg since the second week in May.

    Yes, they are almost 9 weeks old. The last pic is our Baby Roo, he crows like a squeaky dog. lol
