I really need to get different feed for my new muscovy babies. they are 5 weeks old. the food the girl sent with me smells HORRENDOUS! We have a tractor supply here and thats it but all they said they carry is unmedicated chick feed in the realms of unmedicated feed........what do i need to get...
she said they were 5 weeks old and yes, in the box only! :.( she said they were way too messy and she let them out when she changed their bedding. ummmm what?!?! i am keeping them in a fenced in backyard and they are out all the time now and seem soooo happy. ducks are really messy! duh! oh...
Im thinking maybe Muscovy but i really dont know! :\ i got them from a girl who was keeping them in a box soley. :\ they are awewfully sweet and tame though! Glad i was able to save them and was ready for ducks too! :)
I just rescued these two from a girl yesterday who was keeping them solely in a large tupperware container! not sure what they are but i was looking for Muscovies before i stumbled upon them. muscovy maybe??

ALSO! (lol! i know too many questions!) can i use unmedicated chick feed from my local tractor supply for my ducklings? i know since they are young it has to be the ground kind, not the crumbles
oh yeah! and they both have blue eyes! so cute! not sure if that could help on identifying them? ;) They are mostly yellow and have barred yellow and brown on their wings and tail and on parts of their chests.
