    When did they start laying?

I think they’re 14-16 weeks. So hopefully in November! I’m thinking I need to put a light in the coop? Our days are feeling real short here in Canada lol

    When did they start laying?

I have BYM and Olive Eggers hatched in June. When would you expect them to start laying? Some of my girls are getting real red in the face and I have PTSD from roosters! Lol! Wondering if my girls are getting closer to laying?

    Vitamin deficiency after Corid?

Day 4 of B complex and not noticing any improvement, getting more concerned it’s Marek’s as the splayed legs seem to be getting worse. If this is Marek’s, is it a death sentence for my whole backyard flock? I have 7 other hens, first year with chickens and it’s been absolutely brutal. One...

    Vitamin deficiency after Corid?

Making notes for anyone interested or who may find this thread in the future. Notice her off balance starting Monday. Brought her out for some time with the flock but otherwise keeping her in because it’s such a wet rainy day. Seems like her equilibrium is completely off, even when I pick her...

    Vitamin deficiency after Corid?

@coach723 Started with Super B Complex today. I brought her in and gave her scrambled eggs, chopped greens, and water. She devoured a bunch of the egg and had some water. I have her in a dark room with pellets (which she was excited about and ate a bunch of too) and water now and will keep her...

    Vitamin deficiency after Corid?

Hello again 😖 A few weeks back we had a pretty bad case of coccidia, treated with Corid and because we did the oral drench, we started them on a vitamin supplement after the course of Corid. It’s been 8 days since their last dose of the Corid, I still have DVL Poul-Vite in their water (pic of...

How long do you expect bloody stools after starting Corid?

For anyone interested now or who may find this post in the future: The whole flock is MUCH perkier today - day 4 of Corid in water, day 3 (final day) of oral drench. They look back to normal, no one was sitting puffed out at all today, and I haven’t noticed any bloody droppings 🎉 Hopefully we...

How long do you expect bloody stools after starting Corid?

He’s so handsome! They feel!!!! I understand livestock vs pets, but it doesn’t matter. They are living creatures and have personality and deserve the best. He’s mourning his girls 🥹

How long do you expect bloody stools after starting Corid?

Thanks for taking the time to share this info. I have cleaned to coop with a 1:1 vinegar and water, I just wasn’t sure what I could do in the run other than replace the wood chips but they of course keep pooping while recovering so I’ve been out multiple times a day spot cleaning.

How long do you expect bloody stools after starting Corid?

Thank you for sharing your experience, so sorry about losses. Your Bunny sounds like my Hedwig…she’s so lovely but she’s one of the girls that is all puffy right now. She’s also very thin out of nowhere. Crossing my fingers for the best 😓

How long do you expect bloody stools after starting Corid?

Thank you for the info, on Friday I wasn’t sure if it was cause for concern or lining shed, but when I noticed two of them puffed up, I thought we need to treat to be safe. Our temps dropped fast here (southern Ontario) and we did get quite a bit of rain but they land next to the coop and run...
