Regulating rooster populations
Set up a bachelor pen if you really want to keep them. They will most likely get along if there are no hens about to compete over. This has worked for me in the past without any problems at all. It sounds like you have all your birds together, so you wont be introducing new roos, just moving...- elliemb

Bikers and Chicks
We bought a bike last summer. My hubbie took the safety course and got his license in June, so I will be able to ride with him this summer! Yeah! We sold the farm and will be moving in 11 months, so we will be planning on some trips together. Won't have any chickens to take care of...- elliemb

She is pretty bossy, and he is a really good natured fellow! If I could be just half as organized as her...sigh! If that were me my life would have fallen apart by now...lol! Last nights episode was were they all went to Salt Lake City skiing. On a plane with 8 kids for hours and hours UGH!!- elliemb

Does anyone else get a hoot out of watching that show? My daughter and I have to be home on Mondays to watch. Also love Little People Big World! My husband thinks we are ridiculous!! Couldn't stand it when his own kids were crying and isn't going to sit and watch 8 of them howling...lol!- elliemb

My son and our new flock of RIR.
Marty, 4 ft may be enough for now as long as you are outside to keep crowd control, however they do grow very quickly and you will find that 4 ft won't be enough if you leave them for awhile. My birds are wily little creatures and one will even fly up about 5 ft onto the shed and look around...- elliemb
