    They are 12 weeks this week. i also think the grey one is a female, she is always hiding under the black one and is more shy and calm. The black one in the other hand is super tame and jumping on my back and chilling there.

    Hi guys! i have currently 3 silkies who are 3 weeks old. i have let them run outside almost every day for a couple of hours and then bring them inside back to their brooder. Today after they came inside i noticed one of the chicks scratching its tail and feet and screaming. the others are not...

    Its one of those cheap chinese 7 egg incubators, some people have problems hatching with that but its working for me:) i will look into that thread. What you think abou the blow drying thing ?

    so what should i do ? the incubator is so small that the chick cant probably even stand up.

    I know you are supposed to keep the chicks in the incubator until they are dry, but as my incubator is so small and there is barely room to move i would like to know if its okey to move them to the brooder straight away. Maybe even blow dry them just in case?
