    Yes, completely and 4 ft off the ground.

    I might believe rats. The pen is actually very secure.

    The pin is 4 ft off the ground has a roosting area completely closed from the outside. There is an area for them to eat and drink That is doubled fencing with small wire. Nothing can breach the pin. We live on 31/2 acres so there is some wild life. Nothing could get in the pen.

    We have 6 chicks 4 we hatched two bought from feed store - this morning two were dead. Guts missing, eyes gone. They are in a secure pin. Did they do this to each other. 1 was the one we hatched the other was from the feed store.
