    I appreciate your suggestion of using slanted board to prevent them from getting on top of the nest boxes, but unfortunately the slanted board would cover the two openings for air circulation. thank you again for your input.

    Empty Nestor 76

    This is our first at raising chickens, they are only 6 weeks old, but a lot of fun. We live "in the North Country" and it's still too cold for them to go out in their coop, so they are taking up residence in my laundry room. Have to admit I'm anxious for them to graduate to their coop.
