4 out of 5 eggs are hatching. 2 has piped. 1 has a small crack. And the other has a large 2-3 inch hole with it's foot sticking out. And it is only day #48!

I don't know much about emus but could it have caught a small snake an ate it? It would be easier to hold and eat then a rabbit. And it would look like an overgrown worm.
Have you found anyone? I live in Arkansas. I had a hard time finding anyone until I came across a add on craigslist. Now I just hope they hatch 47 more days to go.

You might want to be careful about shipping it anything other then "ground". If it got on a plane this time of year it might freeze.
I have 5 fertile ( hopefully ) emu eggs. I only have a little giant still air incubator. Could someone help me with the temperature. I know it needs to be 97.5 but is that at the top of the eggs of at the middle? If it is 97.5 at the top it is 94 at the middle where should I gauge it by...
