Squawk! : I found it amusing that the vet who decrows rooster is named Dr. Babcock - don't know if he's still around though. I do remember reading that he's the only vet in the U.S. that does that procedure. Meredith Try Palo Verde ( Dr babcock) or Palm Glen.- Enjaytoo

should i use sand or dirt in the run?
Sand is great for drainage....we do not get much rain here but sand would just be easier to rake and keep tidy I would think..- Enjaytoo

How do I introduce a new hen to my flock?
Congrats on your new adopted feather kid I would quarantine a bit longer, and agree with the tractor next to the current pen. Could you move the tractor into the larger pen then? And follow with supervised "visits" and monitoring.... Good luck!- Enjaytoo
