Nice Dog, great job going to a shelter many blessings for you
Thank you. We looked at purebreds but couldn't fathom paying 1000-2000 for a dog when theres millions in shelters
My dog passed away in Feb of last year and my mom was finally ready for another dog. We adopted Kuna from ARF (which is an amazing shelter) and she has been the best. We've fallen so in love with her :sweetheart:
Her name is Kuna, she's a 4 month old mix
I've kept my extremely small colony of hissers for a little over 2 years. They are kept on peat moss with some paper towel tubes and vaseline smeared around the side so they can't climb out. My roaches are pampered in no shape or form, I throw food in there maybe once or twice a week. I work...
Nice BP's!
The gargoyles I am beginning to like more than the cresteds. They are larger than cresteds and kept almost identically. Some say they are more aggressive, but mine have never bit me. Here are some more pictures of them
Dubia roaches, flightless, slow, and can't climb surfaces. Perfect reptile food. Eat anything you throw in the bin (dog food, cat food, veggies) and emit no odor (unlike smelly crickets). You could buy 10-20 adult pairs and have hundreds of babies and never need to purchase food. I just ordered...
i used to have pet rats and mice and the little pests hold a special place in my heart, and i dont think i could feed pinkies
You could always feed big roaches instead of the pinkies (not that I'm encouraging anything )
Very cool snake.
Yea, I'm lucky enough to have a reptile room, now I don't have to stare at all the cages. lol
Here are some pics of the room, about 1/4 of it.
I do have a reptile room. It's an area in my basement closed off. I keep a heater down there and it stays at a consistent 73, perfect for most of my gecko species.
Yea tokay's are mean little creatures. The picture of him latched onto my gloves, he lasted about 15 minutes that way, I could NOT...
Just a quick question.. can you over feed snakes (i have a baby)
Absolutely, I think more so as babies than as adults because you usually feed most baby snakes (except boas and balls) pinkie mice. Pinkie mice are very fatty, so if offered very often, the snake can gain too much weight. Feeding...
