Yes, Thelma is lonely. I'm looking to rebuild my small flock. Would really like to find at least one hen to keep her company right away. Anyone have pullets or hens available?
It's been quite a while since I've been on the forum. Today was a sad day for my small flock of 5 hens. I assume a predator got into the coop before it was locked up last night, but still not sure what happened. 3 were found dead on the top floor of the coop, 1 alive and fine, and 1 is missing...

I've got a broody little mille fleur BC (from Lynne), she's been that way for about a week. She's not nasty about it though, I just have to
pick her up to get the eggs each day, and then she purrs at me!
